Ricardo López Canales is a Mexican computer science graduate from Tecnológico de Monterrey (Monterrey Institute of Technology). He focuses on User Experience Research and Design. He is passionate about and committed to creating innovative, inclusive, and user-friendly technologies or what he calls, “creating technologies for truly everyone.”
He has been part of several multidisciplinary teams in different companies such as Amazon, General Electric, Infosys, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Schneider Electric, and currently Oracle as Interaction designer involved in project for the Redwood Design System.
Ricardo has been involved in important projects such as the redesign of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s main website for fundraising and the redesign of the corporate website of Salud y Bienestar del Sur (Southern Health and Wellbeing).
The Association of Computer Machinery (ACM) had awarded him with a scholarship to attend SIGGRAPH 2019’s edition, their annual conference on computer graphics in Los Angeles, California. Ricardo is Certified as Associate in Project Management and continues to be a member of the ACM and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Ricardo is also the founder of Ricardo Canales Design, a startup agency focused on UX/UI Design and technical consultancy for strategic development and digital presence.
He is a happy member of a family of three siblings and parents. Finally, he is also a wine enthusiast and art lover.
